Midcentury Danish Paper Knife chair and ottoman in teak by Kai Kristiansen for Magnus Olesen 1960s

This Paper Knife chair and ottoman is designed by Kai Kristiansen and manufactured by Magnus Olesen in Denmark in the 1960s. The name ‘Paper Knife’ refers to the shape of the arm rests. This known model by Kai Kristiansen is very popular. It is a compact easy chair that gives a lot of comfort. It is very hard to find the matching ottoman.

The original frame is made of solid teak. The springs, cushions and fabric are new. For the reupholstery we have chosen a beautiful high end fabric in Trevira. There is a logo by the manufacturer both on chair and ottoman. This set is in very good condition due to the renown Møbelfabrik workshop with over 35 years of experience with wood treatments.
